Holding a “Master’s in Fashion and Celebrity Photography” from IDEP (INSTITUT SUPERIOR DE DISSENY I ESCOLA DE LA IMATGE). The training involved not just study and learning. There was also discovery.
In portrait photography, it’s not only the eyes that speak. The hands also speak. The expression of the body is a unique and universal language that we instinctively know and interpret. But often we do not know how.
And the light that illuminates us comes from outside and from within. But knowing how to capture that in an image requires much, much more.
The human gaze is complex and is fascinating.
