My name is Josep

I am an advertising photographer and photography, lighting and postproduction instructor. I am a certified professional. I was born and live in Barcelona (one of the most beautiful cities in the world). From a very early age, I developed a unique sense of observing reality combined with a vivid imagination.

I was self-taught in photography and lighting for a long time (I still am) and did experimenting and research endlessly. I exhibited photographs in different rooms and spaces. Later (a little more relaxed) I studied photography and lighting. Specifically: 

• Still Creative and Advertising Photography at The Institute of Photographic Studies of Catalonia – L’Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya (IEFC)

• Fashion and Celebrity Photography at The Institute of Design and the School of Image – L’Institut Superior de Disseny i Escola de la Imatge (IDEP) in Barcelona

• Photography and Creativity at AtelieRetaguardia

I am the father of two beautiful girls (perhaps the best thing I have ever done in my life and I had to make this clear). I have a degree in Law, a Master’s in Maritime and Port Law and Commerce and I am a Law Professor, but that’s not important here. It’s just extra. And that’s me.
